Fees and Important Information
When you complete your registration, please keep in mind that there is a $29 Basketball Victoria Annual Participant License fee. This is an annual payment required by Basketball Victoria.
- Existing Players: If your license is due for renewal, you will be alerted during the registration process and prompted to pay the fee.
- New Players: All new players will need to pay this fee to complete the online registration.
Make sure to take care of this as you finalize your registration with the Pythons Basketball Club. Let's get ready for an incredible season ahead! 🏀
Here’s some important information that all families need to be aware of:
- Team Managers Needed: Each team requires a team manager. If you’re interested in taking on this role, please let us know.
- Scoring Roster: Each family will need to take turns scoring at their child’s game. The team manager will set up a scoring roster to ensure everyone has a fair share of the responsibility.
- Zero Tolerance Policy: We have a zero-tolerance policy for the abuse of referees or any officials. This includes players, scorers, coaches, families, and spectators. Any breach of this policy may result in a report to the basketball tribunal and could lead to penalties, including being banned from any basketball venue.
- Calling All Coaches and Volunteers: We are always on the lookout for coaches or dedicated members of our Python's family who are willing to contribute their time and skills to help our teams succeed. Training
- Location: Thomastown Recreation and Aquatic Centre (TRAC), 52-54 Main St, Thomastown, 3074.
- Days: Training will be held on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Final days and times will be confirmed once teams and coaches are finalized.
- Note: No training during school holidays.
Fees
- Season Fee: $400 per player, covering competition entry, weekly game costs, training venue hire, and end-of-season trophy and presentation.
- Payment Schedule: A $200 commitment fee is due before the first grading game on 12th October 2024. The remaining $200 is due by 12th November 2024.
- Registration: After registering on PlayHQ, you’ll receive an invoice for club fees.

- Stack TeamApp: We use Stack TeamApp for communication and game alerts. Please confirm your child’s availability by Thursday evening before the Saturday game to avoid walkover fees.

Dates and Calendars
Summer Season 2024/25
This season will run over Terms 1 & 4, with no games scheduled during school holidays. Mark your calendars—the first game is set for Saturday, 12th October. Training will kick off earlier that week, with specific times and days to be confirmed soon. Get ready to hit the court and make this season unforgettable! 🏀
